Class Categories
Classes are given a skill level which can be helpful in determining which level class you are best suited and ideas on how to progress your skills. The levels are however, designed to be used as guide only and you may be across 2 different levels.

Level 1 - Complete Beginner/Refresher
You have never used a sewing
machine before or you have used one
in the past and are in need of a
refresher
Level 4 - Improver Dressmaker
You have sewn a simple garment using
woven fabric
Level 2 - Next Steps Beginner
You are able to wind a bobbin, thread
a machine, sew basic stitches –
straight stitch, reverse stitch and zig
zag stitch.

Classes
Classes aimed at children between the
ages of 9 and 17 – all abilities
Level 3 - Improver Sewist
You are confident using the sewing
machine and have sewn a few simple
projects (see level 2 for examples)
