Come along and learn how to make a super handy fabric storage basket. Not only are these baskets really useful for storing all your bits in (and anyone else’s!!) but they look great too! They would make a lovely personalised gift for family and friends. Just choose your size and fabric combination and let me show you how to make it. You will learn how to use interfacing
to add structure to fabric, how to add a lining and how to sew topstitching.
Please note, this is a project that is suited to a beginner sewer but due to the shorter time available for this class there will not be enough time to instruct on the use of the sewing machine. It is therefore suited to those familiar with a sewing machine or who feel they would only need a brief refresher. If in any doubt please get in touch. It is also suitable for anyone who fancies making something alongside others in a sociable setting.
Equipment and materials:
- Janome sewing machines and basic sewing tools provided to use
- Fabric and interfacing included
Tea/Coffee and biscuits included.
