Lorna says:
“Upcycling is becoming more and more popular with people wanting to reduce waste and wear clothes that are completely different to eveyone elses. I loved upcycling the trousers as samples for this workshop. My new denim skirt is super comfy and I love that it is completely unique - no one else will have one!! There are so many options with upcycling - unleash your creativity and imagination!! Sometimes with kid’s trousers, they grow out of the length before they grow out of the waist, especially if the waist is adjustable. Don’t throw them out just yet - get some more wear out of them by upcycling them into a funky skirt. Be warned - this could get addictive!!!”
