Lorna says:
” My box of fabric scraps is over flowing and ever growing. I really felt like I needed a few ideas to try and use them up, be thrifty with fabric and ultimately save on waste. I love all 3 of these projects. I wonder if it’s possible to fall in love with coasters???!!! That’s how I felt when I made these! Completely unique and so pretty, made into a bundle these would make a gorgeous gift. For pattern weights I have been using metal washers from the hardware store. These are not only expensive if you’re buying in bulk but these handmade weights win hands down in the pretty stakes! They just make you want to sew!! Finally the coin pouches – well super useful and super cute – what’s not to love?! These would make fab stocking fillers for friends or kids – no more hunting for headphones!!!”
