Sewing machine feet 101

Do you know what all of your machine feet are?

Would you like to be able to use more features on your sewing machine and up level your sewing skills?

Then this workshop is just for you!

Learn all about different sewing machine feet in this interactive sewing class.

The following machine feet will be demonstrated and will be available for you to practice throughout the session:

Standard zipper foot
Adjustable zipper foot
Invisible/concealed zipper foot
Straight stitch foot
Automatic buttonhole foot
Button sewing foot
Blind hem foot
Rolled hem foot
Overcast foot
Walking foot/even feed foot
Stitch in the ditch foot
Free motion machine embroidery foot
Bias binding foot
1/4 inch seam foot

The session will include demonstrations of the above machine feet on the Janome 725s machine. Then you can practice using them on the studio machines using samples of fabric provided. Depending on the time, it may be that you don’t have time to practise with all of the feet available but you can prioritise which ones and do as many as you can!

You are welcome to bring your own machine feet along with you for identification purposes!!
