Social sewing day with afternoon tea

How would you like to spend a relaxing, mindful and fun day sewing with like minded people in a beautiful, relaxing environment and indulge yourself to afternoon tea as part of the package?!

This is set to be a fabulous day and perfect timing just after Mother’s day for that extra special treat. Or maybe it’s about time to treat yourself and set aside some well deserved ‘me time’!

Sewing + afternoon tea = what is there not to love???!!!

Aswell as being an absolute treat of a day, it would also be ideal for a motivational boost to either start, finish or make progress with a particular project, receive guidance on an area you need help with or simply get your sew-jo back!!

What you need to bring:

A project(s) to work on including any patterns, fabric and threads.

 

What is provided:

Full use of Janome sewing machines

Range of sewing tools and machine feet - scissors, tape measure, clips, tailors chalk/marking pens, stitch unpickers, rotary cutters and mats, irons.

Expert tuition from Lorna throughout the day

Tea/coffee throughout the day

Fresh fruit

Afternoon tea will be served at approximately 12.30pm. This will include a glass of prosecco or soft drink equivalent. Please let me know of any specific dietary requirements upon booking.

Achill House and Spa is a family run business situated in the elegant & historical village of Knowle. This charming haven of relaxation & rejuvenation is just a stone’s throw away from Knowle High Street. Achill House & Spa is a sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time & be yourself.

Parking is available outside Achill House or in residential roads nearby. There are also several pay and display car parks in Knowle.
